This vintage coffee table in teak wood is a low rectangular table with a slim top and turned legs of tapered profile. It originates from Central Europe, from the mid-twentieth century, in the aesthetic of Scandinavian and Central European modern design.

Teak coffee tables defined the mid-century living room, with light lines and warm wood. Their low scale accompanied the sofas and armchairs of the period.

The top is teak, of fine edge and marked grain, set on four turned legs of tapered section. The joinery is clean and the piece keeps its visual lightness.

The patina keeps the warm sheen of the teak, with the grain on view and light wear at edges and surface. The finish reads natural and little intervened.

For its low, elongated line, it serves as a coffee table before a sofa or as a side table. It fits mid-century, Nordic and contemporary interiors, where it brings warmth and a light silhouette.
