Large-scale dining table crafted from reclaimed oak, recently made circa 2025 using antique wood, reinterpreting the language of the traditional European farmhouse table.
The top is composed of wide solid planks showing open grain, knots and natural marks that reflect the passage of time. This type of wood originates from older structures, offering a material depth rarely found in newly sourced timber.
The structure features turned legs with classical inspiration connected by perimeter stretchers, providing stability and a restrained architectural presence. This balance between traditional references and contemporary execution defines the piece.
The surface retains irregularities, small stabilized cracks and a natural patina aligned with a wabi sabi aesthetic, where aged material becomes the main visual element.
Today it works as a dining table, work table or central piece in rustic, countryhouse or minimalist interiors seeking texture and authenticity.
