This vintage round side table in teak wood is a three-legged table with a circular top and tapered legs splayed outward. It originates from Hungary, from the mid-twentieth century, in the aesthetic of Scandinavian and Central European modern design.

Teak side tables accompanied the mid-century living room, beside a sofa or an armchair. Their round, light format made them easy to combine.

The top is circular, veneered in teak with a radial grain composition, on three turned legs of tapered section. The whole is light and keeps an old paper label underneath.

The patina keeps the warm sheen of the teak, with the grain on view and light wear on the top and edges. The finish reads natural and little intervened.

For its round format and medium height, it serves as a side table, a pedestal table or a support table beside the sofa. It fits mid-century, Nordic and contemporary interiors, where it brings warmth and a light silhouette.
