Vintage side table in wood, mid-20th century Central European furniture originating from Central Europe and dated circa 1960. Originates from Central Europe, from the 1960s, where mid-century industrial design produced light wooden side tables with refined lines.
In mid-century homes, living-room side tables served as a support beside the sofa, a base for a lamp or a service surface for coffee. Their contained scale and modern language integrated them into interiors where furniture was chosen piece by piece.
Built in solid wood with a rectangular top and turned legs. The carpentry is clean and the proportions balanced, characteristic of mid-century Central European auxiliary furniture.
The patina retains the warm tone of varnished wood, with visible grain and a satin sheen. The top shows marks, small varnish losses and traces of prolonged use integrated into the surface. The structure remains sound.
It fits naturally in mid-century, vintage and contemporary eclectic interiors. It works as a living-room side table, a support for a lamp or an auxiliary piece beside an armchair. Its contained scale lets it integrate in diverse spaces.
