Designed for storing documents, personal belongings or valuables, it combines a hinged top lid with integrated front drawers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The piece is primarily crafted from <span class=\"s1\"><b>Japanese cedar<\/b><\/span>, valued for its lightness and stability, with reinforced elements and drawer fronts in <span class=\"s1\"><b>Japanese zelkova<\/b><\/span>, a highly prized hardwood in traditional Japanese furniture for its strength and attractive grain. The <span class=\"s1\"><b>original metal fittings<\/b><\/span> reinforce the structure and corners.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The surface shows a deep, dark patina with signs of use consistent with its age, enhancing its authenticity.
