Provient du Gansu, dans l&#8217;ouest de la Chine, du d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle, o\u00f9 le pin local \u00e9tait travaill\u00e9 selon l&#8217;assemblage \u00e0 tenon et mortaise sans clous.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les salons et chambres des maisons du Gansu au d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle, les buffets bas servaient au rangement discret et de bases pour des compositions visuelles. La hauteur contenue permettait d&#8217;accrocher des \u0153uvres au-dessus sans obstruction. Leur typologie appartient \u00e0 la tradition provinciale de l&#8217;ouest de la Chine.<\/p>\n<p>Construit en pin massif du Gansu selon la menuiserie traditionnelle sans clous. La fa\u00e7ade s&#8217;organise en panneaux ou petits compartiments. Les pieds de section carr\u00e9e accompagnent la hauteur. La ferronnerie, lorsqu&#8217;elle est pr\u00e9sente, est en fer forg\u00e9 d&#8217;origine.<\/p>\n<p>La patine conserve l&#8217;identit\u00e9 r\u00e9gionale du pin du Gansu : ton profond et uniforme, veinage lisible. La peinture d&#8217;origine, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 elle est conserv\u00e9e, s&#8217;est int\u00e9gr\u00e9e au bois par le passage du temps. L&#8217;usure est visible sur les surfaces de contact. La structure reste solide.<\/p>\n<p>S&#8217;int\u00e8gre avec naturel dans des salons contemporains, des chambres ou des espaces de transition. Fonctionne comme buffet bas de rangement, base pour une composition d&#8217;objets ou support sous des \u0153uvres accroch\u00e9es.
