Cette console d’autel de grand format<\/strong> en pin massif<\/em> d\u00e9veloppe une fa\u00e7ade de 189 cm avec une frise ajour\u00e9e \u00e0 motif de grecque<\/em>, un pi\u00e9tement \u00e0 tr\u00e9teau aux pieds profil\u00e9s et un plateau continu aux bords l\u00e9g\u00e8rement relev\u00e9s. Chine, vers 1930.<\/p>\n

Les consoles longues de hauteur moyenne \u2014 connues comme tables d’autel ou de vestibule \u2014 assuraient dans les maisons traditionnelles chinoises la fonction centrale d’autel domestique, table d’offrandes ou appui dans le salon principal. La proportion horizontale allong\u00e9e permettait d’organiser des objets rituels ou d\u00e9coratifs en ligne.<\/p>\n

La construction est enti\u00e8rement traditionnelle : pin massif au plateau, \u00e0 la frise et aux pieds, assemblages en mortaise et tenon, plateau form\u00e9 de deux planches larges aux extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s l\u00e9g\u00e8rement relev\u00e9es. La frise ajour\u00e9e \u00e0 grecque carr\u00e9e (motif g\u00e9om\u00e9trique chinois classique) renforce structurellement la pi\u00e8ce tout en la d\u00e9corant.<\/p>\n

La patine actuelle est d’une teinte naturelle chaleureuse, avec une usure honn\u00eate sur le plateau et les ar\u00eates de la frise. La surface sup\u00e9rieure conserve les marques douces de l’usage : traces d’appuis, l\u00e9gers chocs, ce poli naturel que donnent les ann\u00e9es. Sans restaurations invasives.<\/p>\n

Elle fonctionne comme console de vestibule ample, longue table de salon ou pi\u00e8ce d’exposition sous une fen\u00eatre. La longueur exige de l’espace mais offre en \u00e9change une surface \u00e0 fort impact, particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9e aux sc\u00e9nographies minimalistes avec quelques objets en hauteur.<\/p>\n
