La pi\u00e8ce ne conserve pas d&#8217;\u00e9tiquette de fabricant et se d\u00e9crit par typologie et r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<p>Cette typologie servait de comptoir ou de pupitre de compte dans les petits commerces ruraux du Chine, o\u00f9 le commer\u00e7ant rangeait sous l&#8217;abattant les livres de comptes, sceaux et petite monnaie. La hauteur de travail debout et l&#8217;abattant ferm\u00e9 \u00e0 cl\u00e9 \u00e9taient propres aux meubles de comptoir.<\/p>\n<p>Le b\u00e2ti repose sur quatre pieds carr\u00e9s renforc\u00e9s par des traverses basses p\u00e9rim\u00e9trales. Le plateau, panneau plein mont\u00e9 sur traverses, bascule sur charni\u00e8res en fer forg\u00e9 et se ferme par une longue platine traversante \u00e0 crochet. L&#8217;int\u00e9rieur est construit en caisse, avec feuillures pour loger de petits accessoires.<\/p>\n<p>La patine, sombre et vein\u00e9e, est une teinture sur pin pr\u00e9sentant des usures coh\u00e9rentes sur les ar\u00eates et l&#8217;abattant. Les ferrures montrent une couche d&#8217;oxyde stable, sans perte structurelle. Aucune restauration invasive: la pi\u00e8ce garde son caract\u00e8re de meuble utilitaire de la p\u00e9riode r\u00e9publicaine.<\/p>\n<p>Il fonctionne en pi\u00e8ce singuli\u00e8re dans une entr\u00e9e, un cabinet de caract\u00e8re ou en meuble d&#8217;appui dans un s\u00e9jour sobre.
