La caisse pos\u00e9e sur tablier d\u00e9coup\u00e9 maintenait le contenu \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9cart de la poussi\u00e8re du sol.<\/p>\n<p>La structure est assembl\u00e9e \u00e0 mortaise et tenon aveugles, sans clouterie visible, et se ferme par panneaux d&#8217;orme \u00e0 plat-joint. Les portes pleines pivotent sur axes en bois et se ferment par anneaux d&#8217;origine en fer forg\u00e9. Une petite feuillure basse fait office de tirant secondaire et d&#8217;\u00e9vent.<\/p>\n<p>La patine atteint le ton paille clair de l&#8217;orme lav\u00e9 par le temps, avec un veinage marqu\u00e9 et de l\u00e9g\u00e8res zones sombres qui donnent de la profondeur. De petits \u00e9clats en fa\u00e7ade et des ar\u00eates adoucies par l&#8217;usage renforcent le caract\u00e8re honn\u00eate de la pi\u00e8ce.<\/p>\n<p>Il fonctionne en buffet de s\u00e9jour, en meuble bas pour t\u00e9l\u00e9viseur ou en console longue le long d&#8217;un mur.
