Il ne conserve pas d&#8217;\u00e9tiquette de fabricant et se d\u00e9crit par typologie et r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<p>Les buffets \u00e0 tiroirs du Shanxi appartenaient au mobilier de fond des s\u00e9jours ruraux: les tiroirs hauts gardaient sous cl\u00e9 graines, \u00e9pices ou petits tr\u00e9sors, et les portes basses recevaient la literie ou les ustensiles quotidiens. La painture rouge se posait sur le pin pour le prot\u00e9ger et apporter de la couleur \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n<p>Le b\u00e2ti est assembl\u00e9 en mortaises et tenons aveugles. Une couche \u00e9paisse de laque pigment\u00e9e en vermillon recouvre la fa\u00e7ade, les flancs et le plateau. Les deux portes basses pivotent sur axes et se ferment par anneaux et entr\u00e9es de serrure en fer forg\u00e9 en forme de feuille. Les deux tiroirs hauts conservent leurs tirants d&#8217;origine.<\/p>\n<p>La patine pr\u00e9sente une usure irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re et vibrante: le rouge profond domine les panneaux centraux, alors que les ar\u00eates, angles et plateau laissent voir le pin clair apr\u00e8s des d\u00e9cennies d&#8217;usage. Cette lecture en couches superpos\u00e9es est voulue et participe de la valeur historique de la pi\u00e8ce. Aucune restauration invasive.<\/p>\n<p>Il fonctionne en buffet de caract\u00e8re dans une entr\u00e9e, une cuisine ouverte ou un s\u00e9jour rustique-contemporain.
