Il ne conserve pas d&#8217;\u00e9tiquette de fabricant et se d\u00e9crit par typologie et r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<p>Le buffet bas \u00e0 deux portes faisait partie du mobilier de fond des maisons rurales en Chine, o\u00f9 il accueillait la literie, la vaisselle ou les outils domestiques. Son volume allong\u00e9 et sa faible hauteur en faisaient un meuble compagnon du s\u00e9jour, ni protagoniste ni invisible.<\/p>\n<p>Le b\u00e2ti est assembl\u00e9 en mortaises et tenons aveugles, caract\u00e9ristiques de la charpenterie chinoise traditionnelle. Le plateau r\u00e9unit de larges planches d&#8217;orme \u00e0 plat-joint. Les portes pleines pivotent sur axes en bois et se ferment par anneaux d&#8217;origine en fer forg\u00e9, log\u00e9s dans de discr\u00e8tes entr\u00e9es assorties.<\/p>\n<p>La patine montre le ton clair et vein\u00e9 de l&#8217;orme d\u00e9cap\u00e9 par le temps, avec des zones plus sombres aux endroits d&#8217;usage. De l\u00e9g\u00e8res usures sur les ar\u00eates et des ferrures \u00e0 oxydation stable renforcent le caract\u00e8re honn\u00eate de la pi\u00e8ce, sans restauration invasive.<\/p>\n<p>Il fonctionne en buffet de s\u00e9jour, en meuble bas pour t\u00e9l\u00e9viseur dans les grandes pi\u00e8ces ou en console longue le long d&#8217;un mur.
