Ils accueillaient v\u00eatements, textiles et objets personnels les plus pr\u00e9cieux. La palette vibrante \u2014 bleu, vert, rouge \u2014 refl\u00e9tait le go\u00fbt populaire alpin et balkanique.<\/p>\n<p>La caisse est construite en planches de pin assembl\u00e9es \u00e0 onglet renforc\u00e9, avec un couvercle \u00e0 charni\u00e8res en fer et une serrure centrale. La peinture turquoise est pos\u00e9e sur une base verte plus ancienne qui affleure dans de petites pertes et sur les ar\u00eates. Une moulure p\u00e9rim\u00e9trale basse compl\u00e8te la silhouette. Les pieds tourn\u00e9s sont un ajout r\u00e9cent qui sur\u00e9l\u00e8ve l\u00e9g\u00e8rement la pi\u00e8ce.<\/p>\n<p>La patine pr\u00e9sente une surface vivante, avec des usures franches qui laissent voir le vert de la base et le bois chaud aux zones de frottement. L&#8217;entr\u00e9e de serrure centrale conserve son oxydation stable et tout son caract\u00e8re. Aucune restauration moderne sur la peinture: la lecture chromatique est enti\u00e8rement d&#8217;origine.<\/p>\n<p>Il fonctionne en pi\u00e8ce de caract\u00e8re au pied du lit, en coffre-table basse dans un s\u00e9jour rustique-contemporain ou en assise d&#8217;appoint dans une entr\u00e9e.
