Il provient du nord de la Chine, de la fin de la dynastie Qing, o\u00f9 le pin \u00e9tait travaill\u00e9 selon un assemblage traditionnel \u00e0 tenons et mortaises.<\/p>\n<p>Les meubles \u00e0 multiples tiroirs du nord de la Chine servaient dans les pharmacies traditionnelles, les commerces et les maisons ais\u00e9es \u00e0 classer les herbes m\u00e9dicinales, les \u00e9pices, les grains et les petits objets domestiques. La grille r\u00e9guli\u00e8re de tiroirs permettait une organisation fonctionnelle claire et la serrure centrale prot\u00e9geait les contenus les plus pr\u00e9cieux. Cette typologie appartient au registre civil du mobilier domestique de la fin Qing.<\/p>\n<p>Le corps est construit en pin massif. La fa\u00e7ade est organis\u00e9e en une grille de trois rang\u00e9es et un total de 15 tiroirs, chacun \u00e0 poign\u00e9e circulaire en fer forg\u00e9 fix\u00e9e par rivet. Au centre de la bande sup\u00e9rieure se loge une serrure forg\u00e9e avec \u00e9cusson d\u00e9coratif appliqu\u00e9. Les flancs sont massifs et les pieds descendent \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9querre jusqu&#8217;au sol. L&#8217;assemblage est traditionnel chinois \u00e0 tenons et mortaises, sans visserie.<\/p>\n<p>La patine conserve un ton chaud brun avec le veinage du pin clairement apparent. La surface du plateau sup\u00e9rieur montre le dessin naturel du bois avec de l\u00e9g\u00e8res marques d&#8217;usage: petites fentes longitudinales, angles adoucis, fa\u00e7ade \u00e0 patine plus claire dans les zones de manipulation fr\u00e9quente. La serrure centrale s&#8217;est oxyd\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re stable et conserve son \u00e9cusson. Les ferrures gardent une oxydation naturelle.<\/p>\n<p>Par sa longueur de 190 cm, ses neuf tiroirs op\u00e9rationnels et la pr\u00e9sence d&#8217;ancrage de la serrure centrale, ce meuble fonctionne comme pi\u00e8ce principale dans les salons amples, les salles \u00e0 manger et les entr\u00e9es. Il sert de rangement organis\u00e9 ou de pi\u00e8ce d\u00e9corative de caract\u00e8re.
