Il provient de Hongrie, de la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 du XX\u1d49 si\u00e8cle, o\u00f9 le ch\u00eane \u00e9tait travaill\u00e9 en tonnellerie rurale pour conserver le vin, l&#8217;eau, les grains ou les conserves familiales.<\/p>\n<p>Les petits tonneaux d&#8217;Europe centrale appartenaient au mobilier fonctionnel de la maison paysanne et des caves familiales. Construits selon la tonnellerie traditionnelle \u2014 douelles cintr\u00e9es, cerclages en fer \u00e0 pression, couvercles fixes ou pratiquables \u2014 ils servaient \u00e0 conserver le vin jeune, les pickles, la graisse, les grains ou l&#8217;eau. La hauteur sup\u00e9rieure au diam\u00e8tre permettait un volume interne important dans une emprise r\u00e9duite.<\/p>\n<p>Le corps est construit avec des douelles verticales en ch\u00eane massif, taill\u00e9es \u00e0 la main et cintr\u00e9es selon le profil classique du tonneau avec un l\u00e9ger bombement central. Trois cerclages en fer forg\u00e9 \u2014 un sup\u00e9rieur, un central, un inf\u00e9rieur \u2014 maintiennent les douelles sous pression sans clous. Le couvercle sup\u00e9rieur est form\u00e9 de deux ou trois planches radiales fix\u00e9es au bord sup\u00e9rieur. La base est similaire au couvercle.<\/p>\n<p>La patine du ch\u00eane conserve un ton chaud naturel, fonc\u00e9 dans les zones de contact continu. Les cerclages en fer forg\u00e9 pr\u00e9sentent une oxydation stable avec des traces visibles de peinture rouge d&#8217;origine appliqu\u00e9e sur le cerclage inf\u00e9rieur \u2014 pigment de protection habituel dans la tonnellerie rurale centre-europ\u00e9enne. La surface ne porte ni vernis ni laque ajout\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Par sa hauteur de 58 cm et son diam\u00e8tre contenu, ce tonneau fonctionne comme pi\u00e8ce d\u00e9corative de caract\u00e8re dans les int\u00e9rieurs rustiques, les terrasses, les restaurants et les projets \u00e9clectiques. Il sert aussi de table d&#8217;appoint basse, de support d\u00e9coratif ou de pi\u00e8ce d&#8217;accent industriel-rural.
