Provient du nord de la Chine, de la p\u00e9riode Qing tardive, o\u00f9 le bois local \u00e9tait travaill\u00e9 par assemblage traditionnel \u00e0 tenons et mortaises.<\/p>\n<p>Les tables de travail \u00e0 tiroirs \u00e9taient des pi\u00e8ces courantes dans les foyers ruraux et urbains du nord de la Chine sous la Dynastie Qing. Leur construction refl\u00e8te la menuiserie r\u00e9gionale : plateau de planches assembl\u00e9es, tiroirs coulissants \u00e0 anneaux en fer et structure \u00e0 traversins.<\/p>\n<p>Le plateau est form\u00e9 de planches assembl\u00e9es \u00e0 rainure et languette, renforc\u00e9es par des liteaux transversaux. Les deux tiroirs coulissent sur des guides en bois et portent des anneaux de tirage en fer forg\u00e9. Les quatre pieds droits sont reli\u00e9s par des traversins horizontaux \u00e0 deux hauteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Le bois pr\u00e9sente une patine chaude de ton miel, avec des traces d&#8217;usage et un assombrissement plus marqu\u00e9 aux surfaces de contact. L&#8217;usure du plateau et des tiroirs est coh\u00e9rente avec plus d&#8217;un si\u00e8cle d&#8217;usage domestique.<\/p>\n<p>Cette table s&#8217;int\u00e8gre dans des int\u00e9rieurs de style japandi, wabi-sabi ou rustique contemporain.
