Provient du nord de la Chine, de la p\u00e9riode Qing tardive ou d\u00e9but de la R\u00e9publique, o\u00f9 le pin \u00e9tait le bois le plus accessible pour le mobilier domestique de grande \u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n<p>La table kang (\u7095\u684c) est la pi\u00e8ce centrale du mode de vie du kang, la plateforme chauffante caract\u00e9ristique du nord de la Chine. Sur le kang \u2014 et sur cette table \u2014 se d\u00e9roulait la vie quotidienne : les repas, l&#8217;\u00e9criture et le repos. Sa faible hauteur et sa grande surface sont les caract\u00e9ristiques d\u00e9finitoires de la typologie.<\/p>\n<p>Le plateau est form\u00e9 de planches de pin assembl\u00e9es \u00e0 tenons et mortaises, encadr\u00e9es par un liteau p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique. Les quatre pieds cylindriques \u00e0 section circulaire sont reli\u00e9s par des traversins en X au centre. La construction est robuste et sans ornementation.<\/p>\n<p>Le pin a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une patine chaude aux tons dor\u00e9s avec un veinage bien visible. Les surfaces du plateau portent les marques d&#8217;un usage prolong\u00e9, caract\u00e9ristiques d&#8217;un objet du quotidien.<\/p>\n<p>Cette table convient aux int\u00e9rieurs japandi, wabi-sabi ou minimalistes.
