Elle provient d&#8217;Allemagne, du milieu du XXe si\u00e8cle, dans le design moderniste allemand des ann\u00e9es soixante-dix.<\/p>\n<p>La gravure \u00e0 l&#8217;acide sur cuivre fut la technique qui rendit reconnaissable l&#8217;artiste allemand Heinz Lilienthal, auteur de panneaux et de tables aux surfaces m\u00e9talliques en relief abstrait. Cette pi\u00e8ce refl\u00e8te ce langage, bien qu&#8217;elle ne conserve ni signature ni marque permettant une attribution d\u00e9finitive.<\/p>\n<p>La base est en teck massif, aux lignes droites et aux angles \u00e0 assemblage apparent, et le plateau est une plaque de cuivre au motif abstrait grav\u00e9, proche d&#8217;une trame urbaine vue \u00e0 vol d&#8217;oiseau. L&#8217;association du bois chaud et du m\u00e9tal d\u00e9finit le caract\u00e8re de la pi\u00e8ce.<\/p>\n<p>La patine du cuivre a vir\u00e9 vers des tons chauds et cuivr\u00e9s avec le temps, tandis que le teck conserve son veinage et un \u00e9clat doux. L&#8217;ensemble montre une usure l\u00e9g\u00e8re, coh\u00e9rente avec son \u00e2ge.<\/p>\n<p>Par son format bas et carr\u00e9, elle s&#8217;emploie comme table basse devant un canap\u00e9 ou comme table d&#8217;appoint d&#8217;accent.
