Antique Chinese furniture
The Chinese Collection brings together antique Chinese furniture and traditional objects dating from the 18th to the 20th century. These pieces were created for everyday and ceremonial use, where function and symbolic meaning coexist in balance.
Crafted primarily during the Qing dynasty and later periods, this furniture is characterized by refined proportions, clean lines, and the expressive use of wood. Each piece carries visible traces of time, adding authenticity and depth.
Materials include elm, northern elm, pine, and regional hardwoods, worked using traditional joinery techniques without nails, as well as lacquer finishes and carved decoration.
In contemporary interiors, antique Chinese furniture introduces calm, contrast, and presence. It integrates naturally into minimalist, wabi-sabi, and modern interiors focused on materiality and history.
